Like team attacks, you can increase the chances of triggering skill merges by sitting characters next to each other in a classroom. During a skill merge, two special skills combine into a single powerful special skill. Skill merges occur when more than one character use special skills to hit the same enemy. The characters involved in a team attack will all take action at the same time, and often deals greater damage compared to single character regular attacks. To use team attacks, position your characters next to each other. Team Attacks and Skill Merge ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Combos occur when you continuously attack the same enemy. Alternatively, you can also use Mana Potions for this. As for mana, only characters who deliver the finishing blow on an enemy will gain mana. Square : Use with D-Pad to change the direction a unit is facing. Triangle : Open main menu or skip demos and cut-scenes. R3 : Switch character status pages or show/hide geo panels.
